A bad dream
POV of Kai
Kai was running. He was scared. Lord Garmadon was chasing him, a bloody katana in his hand. After running for 10 minutes who seemed an eternity, He at last dared to stop. He said: "Cole,are you alright?" But there was no answer. He looked behind and saw Cole wasn't there. He went back to the starting place, then heard a voice. Kai jumped in a lake which was randomly next to him. Then the next thing he saw was something he would never want to see. He saw Lord Garmadon, his katana with even more blood. He went to the direction Kai was only about 5 minutes ago. When Garmadon was not in view anymore, He came out of the water then, at last daring to open his eyes, scared of what he would see, he saw Cole lying on the ground, covered of blood. Cole was dead, His brother. The one he secretly loved. Then he heard turned around and saw Lord garmadon , running towards him at only a few meters away. It was all over. His happiness. His life. His love. Kai Closed his eyes to feel the pain, but then nothing.
I opened my eyes but saw nothing,only pitch black. I used my element to make myself a bit of light, then saw I was in my bedroom, with all the others. But all this seemed so... real. I didn't know why, but I started crying. Only Cole woke up,then he saw me crying. He said: "What happened? Did you get hurt?" I answered: "No,it's nothing. I just did a ... bad dream." "Oh, don't worry, I'll always be here for you. We all will be." I thought he would be happy with that answer but now, I felt... sad. I felt as if... what he said wasn't enough... Then at last I dared to tell him the truth: "Cole, I… I love you more than you ever thought." At first he looked shocked. Is he going to hate me? Is he thinking I am strange and I have mental disorders? I closed my eyes to not let the tears fall, but of course, it failed. I opened my eyes, then saw Cole smiling at me. he said: "I love you too."
