Date a girl.

Quinn smirked to herself behind her large, red sunglasses and brought a cigarette up to her lips. Parked in the McKinley High senior lot, she was waiting for the steady rush of students to begin before she entered the school herself. She propped her feet up on the dashboard and took a puff out of the nicotine stick, poking the ashes out of the window. Dying her hair pink had been Tina's idea, yes, but she still loved the notion. And the whole smoking thing? That was just something she decided would just piss her mum off even more.

Now all she had to do was find a girl to mack on. And then maybe she'd get kicked out of the house?

Fucking finally.

By the time she had lit her second cigarette and finished it, the school was teeming with life. She grabbed her book bag and slid out of the car, walking casually up to the building. Everybody seemed to stop and stare at her, and quiet descended in the area as they all recognized her.

"Isn't that Quinn Fabray?"

"Wasn't she head cheerleader?"

"Oh yeah, I saw her this summer! She was like, riding on motorcycles with a bunch of chicks!"

"Is it true she's gay now?"

"Huh, wouldn't be surprised!"

The whispers escalated around her, and she gave the people brave enough to look a smirk. They couldn't see her eyes behind the glasses, and that was too bad, or she could have easily given them a look that would send them running to Figgans begging for a transfer.

She whipped her hair backwards when she arrived at her locker, getting it out of her eyes. As she spun the combination, she stole a glance to her left, and noticed that Rachel Berry was walking towards her.

Quinn's hands stopped fiddling with the lock, and she was glad that the glasses hid most of her face. Nobody could see the blush colouring her cheeks.

Rachel had definitely grown over the summer. Quinn didn't remember her being so curvy, or her chest being that big, or her eyes being that sparkly…

Target acquired.

Lock. And…

"Hey, Rach."

Fire.

Rachel stopped next to her and smiled at her sweetly. "Hello, Quinn."

"How was your summer?"

"Uneventful. And you?"

Quinn pointed at her and Rachel gave a small titter. "Your new look suits you…"

"Thank Tina."

"Are you two friends now?"

"You could say that…"

Rachel gave her a large toothy grin, obviously happy that her fellow Glee club members were finally getting along. She clapped her hands together once, twice, and then hopped up onto her toes. "I'm so excited for this year!" She didn't give time for Quinn to respond, instead grabbed a lock of her hair between her thumb and index finger and rubbed at it delicately.

"I wonder if…"

"What, Rach?"

The tiny diva blushed heavily and shook her head. "Nothing. Just thinking to myself. So…I'll see you around?"

"Definitely."

As Rachel walked away, Quinn stared after her, her eyes roaming over the brunette's body.

Mum, you are going to be so flipped out when you see her and I making out in the garage…
