George had never realised how much he was used to doing things together with his twin brother Fred, how much he was used to sharing things and experiences with him, and only with him.

Well, until Fred had gotten together with his girlfriend, Fay Dunbar. After some time, the girl had started to spend even more time with Fred, she had slept at their appartement above their joke shop and had been along whenever they had visited the Burrow.

It was not that George did grant Fred the happiness – Fay was a really nice girl who was good for Fred in more than one way (and well, one the ways had caused George to discover that the wall between his bedroom and the of Fred was not as thick as he had thought).

But still, George could not help himself, sometimes he just felt extremely annoyed about how much time Fay was spending in their appartement, with his brother. Sometimes it was as if she was always there, and whenever she came in, with her own key, by now, he felt the urge to ask her if she even had an own home.

George felt like Fred had forgotten that his twin brother existed, all that amorous git thought about was Fay, and what they would do on their next date or weekend. Fred seemed to be too occupied to see that George also needed his brother sometimes, that there were things he wanted to talk about to him, and only to him.

And even though he did not wanted to, George slowly developed a dislike against both of them, or against their luck from which he was excluded.

Right now, George was sitting on the couch in the middle of the huge living room, watching as Fred and Fay entered the flat, laughing happily while carrying grocery bags.

"George, we are cooking lasagna, do you want to join in?" Fay asked with a friendly smile after putting her bags onto the counter of the open kitchen and taking a package out. "Oh, and I brought your favourite cookies."

She walked over to George and handed him the package while continuing:"You've been grumpy all week. Cook with us, it will be fun."

Fay patted his shoulder before walking away to help Fred with the grocery bags. George sighed inwardly, knowing that he would probably only make it worse for himself if he acted all repellent. It turned out to be a nice evening, they laughed a lot while preparing dinner, but still George felt somewhat excluded whenever Fay and Fred started to kiss each other or just joked about things they had experienced together.

But well, maybe George would have to get used to it – after all, Fred was madly in love, and he did not wanted to do anything to destroy this, not when his twin was so happy.
