I own no part of Battlestar Galactica and do this not for profit but because my brain wouldn't let me not write this.
"Welcome, Kara" Socrata Thrace said.
"What is this place?" Kara Thrace asked wondering at the expanse of bright light she was floating in. She had no feeling of weightlessness nor did nor did gravity tug at her. What she did feel was a peace and joy that she had never felt while alive.
"This is the space in-between life and death, the place where your destiny was written." Leoben answered.
"Who are you? You're not Cylons." Kara knew that with absolute certainty.
"Your not ready for that truth just yet Kara. That is for the next time your fate brings you to this place. Now the only thing that destiny requires is that you learn what we have to teach." Socrata again.
"Learn what?"
Leoben-"The way to Earth."
