Lulu was pacing. Pacing was something Lulu rarely did. Pacing was something impatient people did. Lulu was not an impatient person.

"Come on, Wakka," she pleaded, "please hurry home!"

By now, you're probably wondering why our dear Lulu is pacing, am I correct? Well, the answer is quite simple.

Lulu was pregnant.

Very, all-Wakka's-fault, pregnant.

And, in a very un-Lulu like whirl of confusion, she panicked. And now, you are caught up to date.

What if he gets angry? She thought to herself. What if he leaves? How could I be so stupid?!

She bit back a sob.

She had always thought that when this day came, she would, as always, be calm and collected.

But, apparently, being pregnant did things to a person's emotion.

She cursed every deity and religion she knew.

Suddenly, a shadow fell upon the doorway.

"Lu?" A rough voice called. "Are ya' in here?"

"Yes, Wakka, I'm in here," she replied, surprising herself at how calm she sounded.

"Why's it so dark in here, love? Light some lamps, ya?" He said, voiced with amusement at his partners' oddities.

"Hmm…Sure," she said distractedly.

"Lu?" He enquired. "You're alright, ya?"

"Ah, fine, Wakka, w-why wouldn't I be fine?"

He sighed at the panic in her voice; Wakka was smart enough to know that if something had Lulu shaken, it wasn't nothing.

He engulfed her in a tight hug, and, in an act completely out of character, she surrendered herself completely to him.

Imagine his surprise when she let out a little sob.

"Lu…Come on, tell me what's up."

"I-I…"

He smiled encouragingly at her.

"I'm pregnant." She winced, waiting for him to blow up, to resign any claims of love, but none came.

She looked up into his face, and felt her heart soar as she saw his eyes light up.

"I-I… I'M GONNA BE A DADDY!"

He started jumping around the tent, bouncing off the bed.

She gave a little snort.

"I'm going to have my hands full."
