"What the hell is wrong with you!" Sam exclaimed pacing the small motel room.
"You said you wouldn't go after him all, you promised, we all did." Sam said.
"Well i take it back – when i promised it was different." Dean said.
"How?" Sam asked stopping his pacing and staring at Dean.
"She was there, she was worth living for." Dean said angrily shoving his clothes into his duffle bag.
"And she's not now? You know what Dean you're being really selfish." Sam said but Dean didn't answer, just got his things from the bathroom and dumped them into the bag.
"She died so you could live." Sam said trying desperately to get Dean's attention but nothing was getting through.
"She died so i could kill Lucifer and that's exactly what i'm going to do." Dean told him as he packed his bag ignoring the pain in his freshly bandaged shoulder.
"You could die." Sam said.
"Done it once i can do it again." Dean told him simply picking up a shotgun and checking it was loaded. Sam groaned in frustration.
"Jo wouldn't want you to do this, it's not worth this." Sam said, Dean turned to him and grabbed him roughly.
"Don't you dare speak her name." Dean exclaimed angrily then he let go of Sam, shoving him away. "She was worth everything and now i've got nothing, i never even had her but the chance i could have; that was worth living for, without it..."
"Then i'm coming with you." Sam said but Dean just shook his head.
"Not this time." He said.
"Dean." Sam protested.
"No Sam." Dean said firmly.
"Dean please don't do this Dean, it's suicide, please isn't it worth living for her memory?" Sam asked. Dean turned and grabbed his bag off the bed.
"She shouldn't just be a memory." Dean said walking past Sam and storming out of the hotel room. Sam sighed as he heard the Impala start up; there was nothing he could do to stop him.
