Farewell, Colonel Sanders

Nick flicked his cigarette away, carefully approaching the church. He peered in through a window and saw Jane, his bride to be, walking up the aisle with her father. Suddenly he felt his legs move on their own, gaining speed and running in the wrong direction. He did not get far, as a stunning blond woman in a tight body suit bumped into him.

"Aw, SHIT!" He exclaimed, patting down his fancy white suit.

The mystery woman abruptly fell down to her knees clenching a strange red jewel-like contraption sewed to her chest. Before Nick could react, a tall blond man in a leather trench coat somehow materialized behind the woman. He wore dark shades though it was the middle of the day.

"Oh, Jillian, your efforts amuse me so," He said, picking her up by her arm. "But I'm afraid I may have to put you down if you continue to disobey me."

Nick was utterly perplexed. Struggling to respond to the situation, he attempted to back away from the strange people. He turned on his heel and was face-to-face with a tear stained Jane.

"Jane!" He screamed in surprise.

She struck him in the face and stormed off. He didn't try to stop her. Rubbing his cheek, he decided to make a trip to the casino — but felt what he thought to be a gun pressed to his head.

"Farewell, Colonel Sanders," the dark voice of the blond man breathed.

Nick was immediately obliterated as the man fired his ray gun into his skull.
