"History or Political Sciences?" Rosie asked, eyeing John with anticipation.
"I just can't pick one."
Sherlock scoffed, as if her statement had somehow offended him.
"Both of these subjects are pretty much useless, why don't you study biology instead?" He picked his empty plate up from the dinner table.
"Nobody asked you Sherlock," Rosie growled, trying to hide a grin.
"History seems interesting," John said.
"So is politics."
Sherlock left the room, a bit bored with the conversation. It suddenly struck him that it's been fourteen years that Rosie has lived at Baker Street. These years seemed to have passed quickly. Sherlock didn't fear old age, but he still found the swift passage of time unsettling at times. He lay on the couch, and let his mind wander.
In the meantime, Rosie was doing her homework. (The prof told her that she had only two exsercises to do, A and B. To rosies disbelief there was way more work than that- A i, A ii, A iii..) She was halfway through her work when she got a notification on her phone. Rosie got a message from August, and forgot about the homework.
August 18:08
U free tomorrow?
Rosie 18:09
Maybe. Have you picked your subjects?
August 18:09
Idk. Maybe politics? ಠ_ಠ
Rosie never expected August to be intererested in that. She was obsessed with programming and music production, and was quite the anarchist. Maybe she wants to know how the goverment works before she dismantles it, Rosie thought. She remembered the homework and got back to that.
