Fallout: New Confederacy

News has spread of a new nation rising from the south. It grows and explands each year, but is still a mystery to the outside world. To learn more about this new nation, the Brotherhood of Steel of the Capital Wasteland has assembled a task force to investigate it. And leading the team is none other then the Lone Wanderer. Rated T for language and violence. (HIATUS)

War...war never changes. From the time Cain killed Abel, humanity has been a violent race. We've killed each other over anything; wealth, power, God, or personal hatred. Thou the weapons and technology has changed, the urge to wage war has never changed.

When nuclear bombs rained from the skies during the Great War, it left the Earth bathed in fire and nuclear waste. The United States was all but destroyed. Many lucky people found safety inside the great underground Vaults; protected from the horrors those left out side had to endure. Many believe this Nuclear Apocalypse was the end...it was not.

Those who survived the war found themselves facing a barren and radioactive world. Major cities had fallen and millions killed. Even the wildlife was not spared. Once harmless creatures had been mutated into blood thirsty disfigured monsters. But humanity moved on.

Of all the factions that rose up in the 200 years after the war, the Brotherhood of Steel was one of the most powerful and famous. They spread across the former United States searching for Pre-War technology. Each group was loyal to the cause of recovering and collecting this priceless technology. All but the southeastern Brotherhood.

In the year 2270, the Brotherhood of Steel in the Florida region when silent. The Brotherhood heard no word from those that had been stationed in that area. It wasn't until 2285, 15 years later, that news of a great nation rising in the south, spread from the Capital Wasteland to the New California Republic. This nation was expanding each year. It spread from Florida, it claimed the former states of Alabama, Georgia, and southern South Caroline. Named after a nation that had dissolved over 400 years earlier, the rising power was the New Confederate States of America.
