For Dino, life is made up of many moments. The moment his old man told him he is to be the next boss of Chiavorone. The moment Reborn showed up and became his tutor. The moment he decorated his arms with tattoos. The moment met his sort of little brother Tsuna. But there were moments especially important to him, moments containing a certain someone.
The first time he laid eyes on the perfection that is Hibari Kyoya. Even though he was stuck in a giant snowball and Hibari had barely laid an eye on him, Dino knew he felt something twitch in his heart.
The moment he and Hibari officially met as teacher and student. Hibari's almost bored gaze upon him, studying him, measuring him.
The moment they started fighting on the roof, he was smiling and so was Hibari. The boy's eyes were no longer bored but instead replaced with an intense gaze. And as soon as their eyes locked Dino knew this was it. He knew he was going to fall hopelessly in love with this boy. During the whole fight he stayed with those eyes, slightly wondered whether Romario or the others would stop him. But mostly just wanting those dark eyes to look at him forever. Just him, nobody else…
The moment he saw Hibari sneaking looks at him, he knew right away, his feelings had been returned.
The moment he stopped Hibari on his way home, working up some courage to actually talk to him. But instead he had tripped and fallen right on top of Hibari; none of his family was around. Kyoya had blushed. In that moment Dino blurted out everything, and his effort returned when Kyoya whispered in his ear for the first (and probably last) time the 4 words he wanted to hear the most. "I love you too…"
The first time he pressed his lips against Kyoya's, wishing that time could just stop right there and let this moment go on forever. But time didn't stop, and Dino was glad it didn't. When the kiss was broken the enchantment didn't end. When Dino pulled back he looked back into Kyoya's dark eyes, the same eyes that captivated him the moment they first met. He saw passion, love, maybe a tint of lust. But that was all Dino needed because in that moment, he knew what pure bliss felt like.
But it was moments like these Dino enjoyed the best. When it's just the two of them, alone. Kyoya was asleep, using Dino's shoulder as a pillow. His chest rising and falling slowly, always in rhythm, never out of order. Dino runs his hand through Kyoya's dark hair lovingly. Slowly he can feel Kyoya waking up, those dark eyes slowly opening. Dino smiles, yup, definitely his favorite moment. He places a gentle kiss on Kyoya's soft lips and looks into those enticing eyes.
"Morning love,"
