She was not always like this. Not always pushingpullingstriving to get better. Nevertheless, she likes Konoha. TenTen likes what she does. She could not imagine herself doing anything else.

Oddly enough, the acrobats who fall gracefully through empty, open space are what inspire her to become a weapons mistress.

Ino Yamanaka is beautiful. She always has been. Even minutes after she was born, the doctor says (Ino will not know this until the story is retold to her years later). "Your daughter will be a beautiful woman."
It strikes her as odd that even in infancy, she was condemned to a life of beauty.
Ino feels ugly on the inside. She supposes that this is retribution.
perhaps ten people in the world are ugly on the outside but shiny, clean, beautiful on the inside because their physical perfection?
She muses on the notion of k a r m a.
And secretly, deep inside herself, she was admired for her mind, like Sakura.

Sometimes, Sakura thinks, I want to scream .
Scream because she could have been so much more than a kunoichi.
Because she is tiredtiredtired of playing babysitter for two men who by now should know better.
Because she isn't loved. That's the problem.
Sakura is not loved back.
Not that she isn't cared for. She is; there are a great many people who hold large amounts of affection for her. The problem is that she does not want affection. She wants an all-consuming passion that will not die with the years or adolescent betrayals.
The other problem is that she does not where to find this all-consuming passion.
So Sakura sighs and assumes that if she finds someone with enough affection, maybe she can find some low-level dosage of the passion she knows she needs. She resigns herself to the fact this will have to do.
h i n a t a. t h i n k
Everyday, thoughts try to crawl their way out of Hinata's mouth. Things a demure, would-be heiress does not say. Thoughts about the rather large object that seemed to be shoved up every Hyuuga male's ass (ugh! They were so arrogant!), about Kiba's pectoral muscles after a workout, about how she hated her haircut (stupid, idiotic, hairdresser!), and her boobs- for the love of God, did those things have so BIG?!
She thinks her father is outdated .
She thinks she would like to get a tattoo on her ankle.
She thinks about what it would be like to kiss Kiba.
She thinks strawberries should be in season all year round.
She thinks she's running out of lipgloss and she should get more.
She thinks she would make a horrible clan leader.
But mostly, she thinks that it would be nice to say these treacherous thoughts out loud, and more importantly , that someone would listen.
