A/N: Written for the Diversity Writing Challenge, Section A Prompt #051 – write a drabble of exactly 200 words. And for me who doesn't usually write couples, here's two of my favourites. :D
Love at Eleven?
Taiki's always bringing up Nene, and Kiriha finds it irrationally annoys him. In retrospect, it's a perfectly innocent observation from Taiki, and he knows it is true no matter how he supresses his instinct to admit that. And at least it's Taiki and Taiki doesn't go on about things like that. He comments, then leaves it be. Kiriha often wondered if Taiki was just oblivious to the implications of his own comments – but that was before he saw all the blushing that went on between Taiki and Akari. And the fact that he'd planned to go on a date with her on Marine Day…
But Kiriha doesn't care much about Taiki's love life. He cares about his own, and he thinks Taiki's insistence – or Taiki's version of insistence anyway, which isn't really insistence at all compared to, say, Akari instead – is to tell him to sort out his own feelings.
And Kiriha can't even return the fire because who the hell asks a girl on a date without clearing up what he feels with himself. Which Kiriha knows he has to do at one point or other…but he's eleven for God's sake! Who told his hormones to wake up anyway…
