Chapter One

The New Girl

Any other summer Harry would be extremly excited to go back to school, but considering the previous year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he didn't know what he wanted any more. The only thing he was sure of is that he has an extremly painful case of depression since his godfather (and only real family he had left) was murdered last spring right in front of his eyes.

"Every time I close my eyes that's what I see. Every time!" Harry Whispered to hi great snowy owl Hedwig as she landed gently on the window sill.

The Dursleys wouldn't understand how he felt. They never did. They'd just think of it as another reason to keep him in his room for the rest or the summer. The more harry thought about Sirius the more he thought about Sirius' family. The cold, heartless Blacks Sirius had run away from to be with his best and only friends in the world. As Harry was deep in thought Hedwig gave a loud hoot. Harry looked up, his heart racing.

At that very moment Harry saw three tiny owls struggling to find the narrow window sill in the warm night air. He only recognized one of them. The smallest one in the middle is Ron Weasley's owl, Pig. Sirius had given him to Ron in the end of their third year. Finally when they found the window sill, Harry quickly gathered up the letters from the exhausted owls and threw them each an owl snack. Which rather displeased Hedwig. Harry ripped open one of the letters that had come from Ron's owl.

Dear Harry,

nothing has been the same since last year. Everyone has been watching things much closer. If you have any more dreams you must tell Dumbledore immediatly! Their is somthing that or I have never told you. Sirius had more family than you knew of. Her name is Maggie Black, she's a thirteen year old sixth year from the U.S. She is transferring to Howarts this year. We'd like you to meet her at the Leaky Cauldron on August twentieth. See you soon Harry.
