YAY! Number 2!!

The shock of Azula's lightning passed through her, shocking every part of her being. She could faintly hear Zuko's and Aang's voice calling her name. KATARA!It hurt…and then the pain stopped. Time stopped. Consciousness stopped. Everything stopped…until there was nothing left except for the slow, slow beating of her heart. The light was getting closer. Was that…

"Yue?"

"Katara," the spirit said fondly.

"What's going on?" Katara asked.

"I have been sent to turn you back before you get too close. It is not your time yet." Yue smiled. "You are important to the fate of the world. With your death, Ozai's win would have been unavoidable."

"What?" Katara yelled. "But I'm not that important!"

"Ahhhh…but you are. You are the reason that Zuko joined Aang in the first place. You are the reason he left his father to come chase after you. He loves you."

"But why would me dieing…" Katara started to ask

"You'll find out soon enough, Oma," Yue said with a smile as she snapped her fingers.

Suddenly, Katara was back at the fight. Her spirit watched as her body was again pummeled by Azula's lightning and fell.

"KATARA!!" Both Zuko and Aang cried out. Aang got to her first.

"Katara?" He asked innocently as tears started to fill his gray eyes. Azula was smirking. Out of nowhere a bolt of lightning hit her and she fell. Sokka, Suki, and Toph looked at Zuko in shock as he finished his stance, tears streaming down his face. He ran to where Aang was holding Katara and held her hand.

"Katara?" Zuko asked, tears falling on Katara's face. "Wake up…please wake up." When she didn't answer, everyone started crying, including Toph. Mai and Ty Lee started to sneak off, but Toph encased them in rock.

Zuko lifted her hand to his face and started whispering something in her ear. Katara could hear what he was saying, but apparently no one else could.

"Katara, please wake up. Don't leave me. I don't think I could handle someone else that I love leaving me. I love you…please don't." When Katara tried to answer, she couldn't. Seeing that she wasn't responding, Zuko put his head on her chest and started crying harder. Sokka rushed over, but merely touched her face. Katara started to cry. Zuko leaned over to her ear again and whispered four words.

"I love you Oma."

Katara shuddered, and then she was back in her own body, gasping for breath. She wheezed, then said in a soft voice, "And I love you Shu."

Zuko looked up, and smiled through the tears. "Never do that again," he said shakily.

Katara smiled. "I promise."

Without any regard to Sokka or Aang, Zuko gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek. Katara smiled. The place on her cheek was tingling.

Electrified.
