At the base of a tree, Bill stopped and stared wide-eyed at its branches. Moments later, realizing that Bill was no longer with them, Bebe and Celio halted as well and turned to face him.

"Hey, Bill!" Bebe said. "We've got to get back to camp before the sun sets. Come on."

Almost completely ignoring her, he pointed into the tree. "Did either of you see that?"

Bebe and Celio exchanged glances – Celio's blank stare and Bebe's slightly worried expression.

"See what?" Celio said as he turned back to Bill.

"There was something in this tree that I've never seen before," he said.

Celio blinked. "What did it look like?"

Bill shook his head. "I… I'm not sure. The branches were in the way, but it looked small… with two tails."

"You're probably just imagining things again," Bebe said with a sigh.

"I am not," Bill said, glaring at his younger colleague. "It really was there. And what do you mean by 'again'?"

Bebe narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms. "Remember that time you swore you saw Celebi?"

"I did! Celio, you believe me, right?"

"Um…" Celio rubbed the back of his neck. "Maybe it was just a deformed Aipom."

Bill frowned. "It was not an Aipom."

Bebe smirked. "Maybe he's just crazy."

"I am not crazy!"

Celio held up his hands. "Okay! Okay!"

"That's a matter of opinion," Bebe said with an innocent smile.

Celio swiveled his head towards her. "Bebe!"

"All right. Fine," Bill said as he threw his hands into the air. "Don't believe me."

Bebe smiled. "Okay!"

"Hey!"

"Now, come on, Bebe," Celio said. "Maybe Bill really did see a new Pokémon."

"Thank you!" Bill said.

Bebe, meanwhile, chuckled and began walking down the path. "Sure. And maybe I'm Mary, Queen of Scots."

With a frustrated growl, Bill followed her. Celio gave him a sympathetic smile and a pat on the shoulder but said nothing more on the subject.

Meanwhile, in the tree, Uxie floated between the branches and watched the humans leave. A sigh of relief heaved from its throat.
