Author's Notes: I was thinking about The Ultimate Enemy and how Dan Phantom (evil Danny) must have viewed Danny's attempts to defeat him. As a result, this appeared in my mind. This is the first time I've posted a poem, so that format might come out weird – sorry!

You think you can beat me
Because you 'promised'.
But I've seen things you can't see
All it takes is one chance unmissed.
You are such a child
You can't see
All those moments you've been wild
You're so close to being me.
You could be me
In an instant; in a second
You could see what I see
Just lose control when you hit a dead end
And you will be me.
Just let all that anger and hate
Come out to play.

You'll be me one day.
Our molecules weren't the only thing rearranged
Deep inside, your heart changed.

Mine begins
