Thousands of years ago, a being known as the evil Skull King Necrodeus suddenly appeared and used his power to create an army of evil monsters known as Demon Beasts to conquer the Magic Kingdom with eternal darkness and have it spread to the Earth, but thankfully he was defeated by the power of the Royal Queen and sealed away in the far reaches of the Demon World.
But years later, the remaining followers of Necrodeus have managed to break the seal to the Demon World and revive him with an artifact called the Dark Stone, which also gives him a large amount of immense power. With this new power, Necrodeus and his forces swiftly defeated the soldiers and he managed to take over the entire kingdom. But during the invasion of the kingdom, the King and Queen were opening the portal through the Magic Door that can send their youngest daughter to Earth so that Necrodeus won't be able to find her. But before leaving to fight Necrodeus, they tell her to find and collect the fabled Linkle Stones as they were scattered somewhere on Earth so Necrodeus and his forces can't get to them first. The King and Queen also gave her the kingdom's treasured Linkle Wand which she can use to protect herself just in case Necrodeus's forces come after her. After saying goodbye and seeing their daughter go through the portal to Earth, the two monarchs were ready to fight Necrodeus.
It was a tremendous and intense battle
Before the final blow to the Skull King could be struck, he used the power of the Dark Stone and turned both the King and Queen into stone statues.
Meanwhile their daughter, Princess Riko has managed to get to Earth, landing in the forest during a full moon. Walking out into the cleaning of the forest, she sees an old house that no one has lived in for years.
From that point, a new adventure is about to begin...
