Human Nature
I was looking out of my window into the night, something suddenly in my mind tells me to go out there.
Looking out
Across the nigh time
The city winks a sleepless eye
As I get up from my desk and walk to my closet to get my coat, I walk straight into something. My coat. How freaky.
Then suddenly my window flies open and I can hear her. The girl in my dreams.
Hear her voice
Shake my window
Sweet seducing sighs
Like music to my ears.
Get me out
Into the nighttime
Four walls won't hold me tonight
Almost by force, I hop out of my window. Landing on my feet.
If this town
Is just an apple
Then let me take a bite
As soon as I'm on the sidewalk I start to roam around the city, letting my feet guide me through the dark streets of this tiny town.
If they say why, why, tell 'em that it's human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say-
Why, why, tell 'em that it's human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
I tried to fight the urge to to go into the alley but ended up walking through it anyway. As I was walking something caught my eye. It was a girl, correction, an angel. She had beautiful brown hair that stopped at the base of her breasts, pale skin, and piercing blue eyes.
Reaching out
To touch a stranger
Electric eyes are everywhere
After staring for what seemed like a century she turned and looked at me. At the exact moment our eyes met I heard a voice whisper in my ear. Her voice.
"Your eyes"
I shot her a confused look. Was that her. No words came out her mouth.
She looked at me knowingly and nodded her head. Then I heard the voice again.
"Yes, it's me"
See that girl
She knows I'm watching
She likes the way I stare
I bit my lip nervously. Can she read my mind or something?
"Yes"
I took a hesitant step towards her, my eyes never leaving hers.
If they say why, why, tell 'em that it's human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say-
Why, why, tell 'em that it's human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
I was so wrapped up in her angelic face I didn't even notice that the sun was beginning to rise. We stood just centimeters apart now.
Looking out
Across the morning
Where the city's heart begins to beat
Her face broke out into a sad smile. I reached out to her, letting my hands think for themselves. When the palm of my hand touched her shoulder she shut her eyes. I studied her face for a few seconds before opening my mouth, only to have nothing come out. I stare at her blankly, as if I were to look away she would disappear.
Reaching out
I touch her shoulder
I'm dreaming of the streets

This is a preview of the first story I've ever written. If you want it comment and I'll finish it. For the people who read my other fanfctions I am so sorry. My computer crashed and everything got deleted and I really don't remember what I wrote because I wrote like 6 chapters in one day and I planned to update them throughout the week but then my computer dies. So to make it up to you I decided to put this up. Thank you for reading this. Please review!
