An Oh-So-Convenient Couple

Mainly HavarxJacqueline

With a side of OxXKim

"Ah... Do they always have to be like this?"

It was a nice summers evening, with a cool breeze that played against Havar's hair as he glared towards his (lovelorn?) partner when he jumped when his hand had grazed Kim's. It had been like this ever since the mission at Arachnophobia and "rescuing" Kim and Jacqueline. The evening had been fine, they were just watching the sun set before going home on the ledge overlooking Death City. It had been a awhile since he and his partner had sat here due to the numerous missions. And how convenient it was to find Kim and Jacqueline already here. Apparently they had made watching the sunset in this exact spot a habit of their's.

It was all fine until, Ox, trying to start a conversation with the pink-haired witch had waved his hands just a little too enthusiastically and brushed hands with her, causing both to turn away, a deep red in their cheeks. Ox, he understands would do that, but seeing Kim do the same was a slight shock, as her feelings towards him until recently, had never been positive. But he wasn't blind, he could see that the mission from Arachnophobia had stirred up some feelings other then hate towards Ox.

'Why won't they just confess already?' Havar thought angrily. He wasn't too much of a person for beating around the bush, it was ether, they liked each other, or not. Black and white, no in between. 'You would have to be blind to not see it.... Though.' As almost everyone in Shibusen knew, Ox didn't have the best sight....

Looking to his right, leaning against a wall, Jacqueline had a expression of impatience that would be almost identical to his if he showed how he was feeling on his face. After about a second, she stood up, brushed off her skirt, and dragged Kim five feet away from the boys to whisper something to her.

'Jeez. Girls, it is almost like every moment needs to be discussed between each other in secret.' He could see Kim's face turning redder and redder as their conversation continued. "Oi, Ox, come over here for a sec," Havar called. When he reached him, Havar grabbed Ox's neck and pulled his head a little lower. "When are you going to get a move on?" He whispered at him. It wasn't himself to talk in secret, nor get involved in his partners love life, or lack thereof, but this was getting to a point where it was really pissing him off. Ox blushed and looked down a bit.

"Is it really that obvious?"
