Katara watched as her children played in the pond located in the palace gardens. She laughed as they ran around the garden, playing a simple game of tag. But their game was interrupted when Zuko came out of nowhere and picked up both of them, throwing them over his shoulder and catapulting them into the pond. When they shrieked in protest, he stripped off his Fire Lord robes and jumped right in, swimming with them. It was times like these when Katara was proud of her family.
In fact, if you asked anyone else in the palace what Katara thought of her family, they would immediately say that she was smug. Almost too smug.
