Crystal woke up from a good nights rest, today was the day. 11 year old Crystal looked at her pokemon decorated calender. She rached for her thick glasses and lazily put them on , she blinked a few times then she squealed with excitement, "YES!!!!" she hopped up from her bed and ran to the door, still in her pajamas. Her mom stopped her before she could go outside," Aren't you forgetting something?" Crystal blushed and laughed nervously , she looked at her bright pink and white striped pajamas and messy hair and lopsided glasses. She went back to her room.
She came out a few minutes later wearing black and white striped socks that covered her knees, blue shorts, a tie-dye shirt , and her favourite hat. She slowly walked to her mom that was cooking pancakes, Crystal slithered next to her," Hey mom" her mom looked at her," What d'you say if I , oh I dunno, uh, get my starter pokemon?" her mom shook her head and said," Well , it depends, how is Gooey?". The previous year, her mom gave Crystal a ditto to take care of to prove that she is reasponsible enough to be a pokemon trainer,"Oh yeah, it's fine" a large Mr.Mime slowly rose behind her. It looked at Crystal, she slowly turned around and shreiked so loud a neighbors growlithe started to bark. She ran into a closet and hid. The Mr.Mime walked toward the calm mother and high-fived her ," Good job, Gooey" the Mr.Mime responded," Ditto!" Crystal poked out of the closet, whimpering. The Mr.Mime slowly transformed into a ditto, Crystal's face started to get red rage. She got out of the closet and picked up the ditto,"FOR THE LAST TIME, DON'T SCARE ME !!" the ditto started to laugh uncontrollably. She put the ditto on the table and her mom said," You can" Crystal became excited and squealed,"THANKYOUSOMUCHMOMYOU'RETHEBEST!!" she hugged her mom tightly , then she looked at the clock,"8:00!! Ok mom see you later, c'mon Gooey!!!" The ditto followed through the door. Rowlet. Litten. Popplio. Hmm. Crystal thought. I don't know and I don't care I just want one! Crystal ran through the drive way and into town ...
