Echizen Rinko is a loyal wife and mother, not to mention supportive. Her husband is the Samurai Nanjirou and she loves to him to death. However, he is so childish and sometimes she wishes to wring his neck. But she still loves him.
She hates that he reads magazines with girls in bikinis and the like. She hates that he is lazy most of the time. She hates how he annoys Ryoma about getting a girlfriend when he knows full well that Ryoma's mind is only on tennis. Yet she still loves him.
She is thankful that Nanako is there to help Rinko with the house work and Nanako always disposes of those damn magazines. She loves that Nanjirou is an over good man and father. She loves him and his annoying behavior. She loves that they have a son together. And Rinko knows that he loves her, Ryoma, Nanako and Karupin.
"Patience, truth and understanding is a key to a good relationship," Rinko tells Nanako and Ryuuzaki Sumire who can only agree.
"Rinko, shonen is being mean to me again," said the whining voice of Nanjirou.
"Oyaji no baka," she could hear her son yell that at his father. Rinko sighed and wonders what in the world did Nanjirou do this time?
"Remember patience," said Sumire, grinning at Rinko. Rinko really loves him, yet she really wants to wring his neck.
