To call what Ezekiel knew as an education, was an understatement. A much better wording was a patchwork of facts, first-handing learning, and anything his parents told him. He somehow gathered enough of it all to vaguely function as a normal person from a rural area. It started with his parents belief (both teachers) that with a home environment, and one-on-one instruction they could ensure their son got a better education than what local schools offered. No a bad idea, however in order to get to the "better" part. They sort of skimmed over basic requirements. Ezekiel could tell you about the founding of Quebec ("On July 3, 1608, Samuel de Champlain sailed up the St. Lawrence River in the company of 26 recruits—lumberjacks, carpenters, and laborers. At the behest of Pierre Dugua de Mons, who held a monopoly over the fur trade, Champlain had come to establish a trading post.") But he could barely spell simple words like 'sorry' (to him it was "sorery"), he could tell you how to hunt with a bow and arrow, and how not to kill a moose with one. But couldn't tell you really how government worked. He could even tell you what happened on Camp Pining Hearts (until season 3, when his parents figured out how a v-chip works) but not what happened outside of Canada according to the news, or even a large part of what was in the closet town. Shocking, none of that was what landed Ezekiel where he was currently. It was a trip to the Foodmart in town, like every month to buy things in bulk, and some people said they were "concerned" about him and had called Mr. Antony Page. At least that's what Mr. Antony Page said when he showed up with fifty questions. Withen probably a week, Ezekiel found himself in thr biggest car hed been in, and played with the windows. He would've been more upset, but taking in the world was important. All those big buildings turned back into trees and then fences, and those fences turned into a large, cast iron gate as they arrived at the home of Chris McClain.
