I hate running. I'm generally a very slow person, so there's my excuse. All I wanted to do was see some stars but nooooo. He had to take to the end of the world. Honestly why I chose to follow him I have no idea. He's a mad man! You can tell by just by looking at his hair. Whether floppy or spikey it still looks like a mad scientists hair! He used to be so skinny you could snap him like a twig! Why hasn't he run out of breath yet? He may have two hearts but I'm sure he dosent have too lungs! 90% sure. I started panting five minutes ago! The angels are coming for me. Honestly I feel kind of bad for them. Their lives must be so boring! 90% percent of their lives is waiting for someone to blink and then they must be so confused when they can move because the only have disjointed snippets of time witch may be completely unrelated. There's a reason there called the loneliest creatures in the universe.
"Come on Sarah, You humans are always so slow!" He shouted at me over his shoulder. He grabbed my arm to try to make me go faster by pulling me along.
"Excuuuuse you! Not all of us have a 'superior' body system!" I shot back my words dripping with sarcasm. He winced clearly reminded of when we first met and he found out how slow I am.
"You know sarcasm is the lowest form of intelligence." He remarked.
"You're just saying that because you aren't fluent in the language of sarcasm." He didn't respond to that one.
'Are we going to be ok?" I asked as I thought of my friends back home. They would be waiting for me. I could never abandon them.
I flinched as I heard the echoing scream of someone being trapped by a weeping angle. Knowing what would happen to them I felt sorry for the poor bloke who would never come back to this time where there family was again.
"Sarah you are going to be just fine." I noticed how he left out wether he would be ok or not.
"And you?" I asked uncertainly. He hesitated before answering that he would be fine.
