She stares at him, if for but a moment, knowing it will be the last time they will be together. 'I love you, my little shooting star' she whispers as he gargles up at her his blue eyes stare into her's.

'You will need to be strong for me until we meet again' she half sobs. She was not stupid, she knew Minato would use their son to seal the demon into. She also knew he would have a hard life. She pulls away a strand of red hair from the babies grasp and he begins to cry. 'Hush now angel' she says as she begins to sing her lullaby.

Minato enters with a sad look on his face, 'I am sorry Kushi I must' he says pleading she would understand, She offer him a smile telling him she understand and as the blackness begins to take her she feels her son be taken from my arms, blissfully unaware of what his parents have sacrificed.

Three years had passed and a small child is at the park, the ghost of the woman watches as her son is being yelled at to leave the other children alone, they don't want a monster to hang around their child. The small child beguines to sob as her fists clench and a tear falls down her face.

She watches her son looking around hungrily, he is only four and starving, from behind him is an old man, who hands the child a loaf or bread the child looks up opened eyes .'Thanks Mr' he whispers and the older man smiles before heading to the Hokage tower.

The child digs into his food before he hears a small whimper only to see a large dog and behind five little puppies he looks sadly at his bread and with a sigh he gives the rest to the hungry dog, he will not know that one of those puppies would become a nin dog to one of his friends when he is older.

She wishes those villagers could se him now, they would want him in there clan and they would love him, but not even the Inuzuka who's runaway dog that had just been fed by her son would accept him.

She could not see how anyone could treat a small child like they where less than trash, could not see how they thought something so small could hurt them. She hoped he knew that she and Minato cared and loved him and hoped he knew he was the most precious thing ever to her. He looks up and she wants to coo for he is the most adorable thing ever.

I am sorry, its all she can say to her sleeping teenaged son, his mouth open and laying in what looked like a painful position. They tell me its time for me to go, that I cant watch over you any more, but baby I still love you and could never be more proud. Tears full from her eyes as her red locks suck up the moister.

'I love you my lil Naruto, be strong' she whispers as she vanishes. The teenage boy wakes for but a moment 'Night Mum, Bye I love you too and thanks' he whispers as he falls asleep and forgets that he had ever awoken.
