"Dude pick one already!" I yell at my best friend Dick Grayson, yes the Dick Grayson. "It has to be perfect Wally." He said looking through the rings. "I know dude but we been here for hours, and I'm starving." Roy snickered and said, "I got to agree with Walls here we have been here pretty dang long."
"Roy, the ring has got to be perfect for her." I smile think how my bro finale was going to proposed to Zatanna, they... how do I put this they are... a cute couple, what do fangirls say OTP? yeah I guess you could say they are my Otp.
"Earth to Wally." yelled the ebony. I snap out of thoughts "What?" I ask. He shows me a ring that is way out of price range just at looking the diamond, heck I probably can't even afford to look at it. It was a 3 kart, gold band ring, with tiny diamonds, Zee would love it. I eagerly nod, he then shows it to Roy, who just grunted.
"Roy-boy." Whined Dick.
"What do you want me to say?" Roy asked smugly. "It cost more then hip surgery in the U.S.A.*?" I laugh while Dick looks at us weird. "Come on Richard you know that was funny."
"Was not." the ebony replied stubbornly. Just like the batman I think. Who he didn't want to be I start thinking back on Failsafe man just thinking of that name sends a shiver down my spine and how freaked out Dick was about becoming the batman.
Dick sighed and looked over his shoulder, "guys we need to hurry, I don't want the press finding out before Zee." He said in a tight voice. I look around nobody was here, I was about to tell him but Roy beat to the punch. "Uh Dick nobody's here." he said softly. Wait Roy soft, like he was concern for Dick's mental health, I mean I am. "Well I know that, Bruce paid the manger off." He said in a duh tone. I look at Roy who raised his eyebrow. "Dick are you okay?" I ask.
"Why wouldn't I be?" He said nervously, biting his lip. It reminded me of something he said before, that people bite their lips when there anxious. Maybe could the Batman's prodigy be nervous. I start to giggle uncontrollable, Roy and Dick look at me so weird. When I finally get control of my giggles, I point to Dick. "I know whats up with you." I say singsong.
"Wallace what are you talking about?" He asked. I start giggling again. "Your giggle ner-giggle-vous to ask Zee." I blurt out at the end. Roy looks at the ceiling, then at Dick. "Yep you are." he says bluntly. Dick looks down and then back up at Roy. "I can't do this." he shakes his head at first then harder. Ory pulls Dick into an awkward hug, he looks over our little bros shoulder at me and mouths say something.
I tap my chin, when finale I got something. "Dick." I yell slightly getting his attention. He pulls always from Roy, and looks up at me through his bangs, "You can do this I believe in you, you'll do just fine... I'm terrible at this." I say giving up. Roy shakes his head, but Dick starts laughing. "You are." he says after laughing. I smile "Did I help?" I ask.
Dick looks up and then at me and smiles. "Weirdly enough yeah." He then looks at Roy. "Thanks Roy you to Wally." He walk- no struts to the cashiers. Roy walks over to me and leans forwards and whispers. "You really think hes okay?" I look at Dick. "Nope." I say. Dick then waves us to leave. "After you Roy boy." I say slyly. "Shut up kid mouth." Growls Roy. I laugh oh our family.
