Ash was coming home from another journey he had faced, but he wanted to meet two friends that still lingered in his mind. One he had said goodbye to not as long ago as the other. The female friend he had been traveling with was like that one that still in the back of his mind but still she wasn't a Misty. He still thought of her, the one girl as hot headed as himself. The one girl that stopped Brock trying to hit on girls, the only girl that he had travelled with that was a real Pokémon trainer not some stupid contester. Brock was still at the back of his mind as the only time before this journey had he not been there was when he, Misty and Tracy went to the Whirl Islands. As ash was walking down the path to the Cerulean City's was a while but he had time to think what had changed over the time he had left those years ago. What have she grown over time, he sure had. He slowly got engulfed in thoughts, memories and what he thought long dead feelings. The day reached its peak the sun beating on the clear sky as he notice the edge of a once familiar town.

It was Cerulean City, he was longing for the day he would see this sight. His Pikachu on his shoulder was slightly less charged up than Ash but still excited. He ran thought the streets and went to the place where he got his second ever badge. The Place was just as he remembered it, dome-shaped brightly coloured Gym with a gigantic painting of a Dewgong on top of it. Ash walked thought the front doors he saw a man wearing a black swimsuit, goggles and swinging cap.

"You here for a gym battle?" he asked rolling his eyes.

"No I'm fine." He said grabbing his Cascade Badge from a pocket in his pants.

"What are you here for then?" he asked suspiciously.

"I need to see Misty."

"And what is this concerning?"

"Tell her I'm an old friend."

"Whatever. I'll be back."

"Sweet and tell her to bring her pride and joy" Ash smiled slyly.

The man just rolled his eyes and muttered something to himself. Misty was walking down the hallway moments later wondering what was going on but when her eyes saw the Pokémon trainer she was stunned. Her Togepi was in her hands, it also was shock of seeing the trainer they had said goodbye to so long ago. Ash ran up to her and gave her and the Togepi the biggest hug and almost gave her a kiss but pulled his head back.

"Wow how long has it been?" He asked happily.

"Way too long."

"I know, how is the whole being a gym leader thing?"

"It's great but nothing beats traveling. How is being a big shot trainer suiting you?"

"It's not too bad," He gave a sly smile "got to the top 4 in the last two competitions."

"That's really good!" Misty beamed. "Have you caught any new Pokémon?" she asked in curiosity.

"Yeah, some, but they're all at a Professor's Lab in the Uvona region and some at Oak's lab."

"So how's Pikachu?" Misty asked, pinching Pikachu's cheeks.

"I missed you." Ask whispered in her ear.

"And I you." she replied softly.

"I was planning on get the old gang back for a bit." Ash said with a smile, pulling back slightly.

"What do you mean?" Misty asked in confusion.

"I was going to get Brock and doing something like going to Unova or a new region."

Misty smiled happily.

"That's a wonderful idea."
