He couldn't fathom how he was going to get through this. He couldn't take his eyes off the gorgeous blonde sitting next to him, he was just so stunning that paying attention to anything else had lost it's appeal.
Ron didn't know how he was going to get through the rest of the year sitting next to Draco Malfoy in potions class. I mean DRACO MALFOY the most stunning guy in Hogwarts, he was sure to fail. With such a masterpiece of white-blonde hair and steel grey eyes seated right beside him how was he supposed to listen to Snape drawl on about the importance of owning a high quality cauldron?
He should really just give up on his fantasies of ever being with Malfoy, the guy barely knew him and would never look past the fact that he was just a poor Weasley. The only chance he would ever have at even touching Malfoy would be in a fistfight.
But Ron couldn't help it, he knew is was wrong but when ever he saw the Slytherin boy he felt butterflies in his stomach and his heart skipped a beat. He took out his feelings for the boy by bashing him and calling his names, but it felt so wrong to talk to someone he cared about like they meant nothing to him.
Draco had hated Ron sense the moment he laid eyes on him. He had been raised by a Slytherin father so Gryffindors were his sworn enemies, especially poor ones like that Weasel.
In his fourth year at Hogwarts he had started to see more of Ron than his house and his money. Malfoy started to notice his broad manly shoulders and his auburn locks that always seemed to be perfectly ruffled.
It pained him it admit it, but he was falling for Ronald Weasley.
Ron headed to Potions class with what he felt was a well formulated plan to deal with his little problem. He planed to demand that Snape move his assigned seat with the claim that Malfoy had been threatening him during class. It seemed like a logical reason because everyone knew he and Malfoy didn't get along well.
As Ron marched into class with a determined look on his face he didn't notice a certain steel eyed Slytherin headed toward him. Before Ron could figure out what was going on Malfoy had grabbed him by the arm, spun him around and walked him out of the classroom.
"W-w-where are you t-taking me?" Ron managed to sputter out, getting over the initial shock of the situation. "Just keep moving and shut your trap, weasel" Malfoy dragged the confused red head down the hall and into the nearest bathroom, immediately casting a locking spell on the door.
" I know you've been looking at me in class"
"I d-don't know what your t-t-talking about" Ron was looking around frantically search for a way to get out of this embarrassing situation.
"Spill it Weasel!" The shorter of the two threw the Gryffindor up against the wall. "Why have you been watching me!"
"I d-didn't think you would notice me"
The blonde pressed his lips up against Ron's in a simple kiss and then took a step back.
"Iloveyou" the red head blurted out and then turned as red as his hair.
Without a word Malfoy went running out of the bathroom.
"What just happened" Ron slid down the wall and broke out into tears, the love of his life had just kissed him… and ran. He didn't know if he should be overjoyed or crushed so he let his tears of confusion run down his freckled face.
