"I've got it!"

Saiko jumped at Takagi's sudden outburst, glaring at him for almost making him drop his water bottle, a few droplets splashing onto him. He set down the plastic bottle, grabbing a napkin from near the left-overs of lunch and wiping at his uniform shirt. Goddammit, this was his only clean shirt.

" What?" He asked, irritated. Takagi seemed to not notice, his ridiculous grin only getting wider now that he had Saiko's attention. He grimaced. Oh geez, what now?

Takagi chuckled stupidly, slinging an arm around Saiko's shoulder, "I finally got an idea for the story." Saiko growled and pinched the hand so close to his face, making Takagi pull it away and pout.

Ignoring this, Saiko asked," Story?" Takagi instantly brightened up, moving closer to Saiko ( much to his chagrin) but at least not making a move to touch him again.

" My lovely Saiko, for our manga, of course. I, as the writer, have though long and hard about this!" He nodded at his own statement, as if announcing some great feat to the world. Saiko just frowned at him.

Liar.

Oh well, just go along with it, he thought. It'd be a hell of alot easier that way. " So," he asked, resting an arm on his leg and leaning lazily into his palm, " What is it?"

Takagi opened his mouth to speak, taking a breath as if to go into a long tangent, but then he closed it again. His usual grin began to fade, and he looked thoughtful for a moment. Saiko's eyebrow quirked up. Well...this was a first.

"It's...well, um..." Takagi tried again, only to stop once more. Now Saiko was truely intrigued, if not a bit confused. In the short time he'd known Akito Takagi, the most he knew of him was one thing. He never shut up, and never had nothing to say. A tounge-tied takagi was something he'd never thought possible.

Saiko muffled a chuckle with his hand. Takagi didn't hear it though, as he had already stood up and started pacing the ground, hand on chin and mumbling to himself in thought. So Saiko watched on in intrest for about five mintues, as a Takagi in thought was somewhat like watching a schizophrenic off their medication.

And then finally...

" Ah, I see!" Takagi said loudly to himself finally, pounding a fist into his palm like a period to the thought in his mind. He walked back over to Saiko, whom had layed back already watching the clouds, and sat in front of him. Saiko slowly got up, leaning on his palm like he had earlier, and waited for Takagi to finally continue.

With new found confidence, Takagi opened his mouth with gusto, ready to unfold his well-thought tale, certain to bring them fortunes in the manga business, " So the story goes-"

The tone of school bell started up; the end of the lunch period, time for students to rearrange thier desks in order, or to just get back to the classroom. And left no time for Takagi to tell his story.

Saiko grabbed his school bag and lunch trash, standing up slowly. He smirked down to Takagi, acting as if he didn't want to burst out lauging at the wilted expression on his face. " Well, that's the bell. We better hurry downstairs."

Takagi sighed, also grabbing his bag and getting up. He walked over to Saiko, who waited patiently by the roof's door to the rest of the school. " Alright, but I'm telling you later. And you're gonna have to sit there an listen to me, no matter what," He said as he walked through the door that Saiko was holding open, in a scolding manner, but the grin on his face had already recovered.

Saiko just shook his head, laughing quietly to himself. This guy was just like a kid, sometimes. " Alright, whatever, hurry up," He said, walking through the doorway himself and letting it shut with a loud click behind them.

Just another normal day.
