"What do you mean, we're stuck here?" Ginny asked the manager. "Can't we just get a portkey?"
"No can do. Hurricanes and magic don't mix, so I'm going to have to ask all of you to not use magic until we're given the green light to go home. Until then, stay inside the hotel."
The Harpies muttered amongst themselves, all irritated to be stranded in America. Ginny hoped her family wasn't worried about her, she knew Harry was expecting her home that evening.
They were there for a convention, one that only happened every four years, and the whole team had been excited about the trip, not least because of some of the other players who would be there.
Viktor Krum had been a major draw for many.
Ginny didn't really see the attraction, he was a bit too surly for her taste, but he'd greeted her with a friendly smile and hug when they'd run into each other. The other girls had been practically green with jealousy.
"Oh well. Seems there's only one thing to do," her teammate and fellow chaser, Catherine said with a wicked smile.
"The bar!" the others choroused, laughing.
…
Lips were taking her apart, smooth fingers making her stomach convulse pleasantly, the muscles contracting as he dragged his hands over her skin.
"This is wrong," she moaned, though she made no move to pull away. The alcohol she'd consumed was making the world spin around her, but she could only concentrate on the sensations he was bringing out in her.
He was talented, she had to give him that.
He gave a dark chuckle, pressing kisses down her torso, past her navel and onto her hip bones. She gripped at his hair, tugging it hard.
It didn't take long for him to have her quivering with need.
"You're fucking dangerous," she told him afterwards, panting.
"You enjoyed it," he replied lazily.
"Nobody can ever know. I mean it, Viktor. Nobody."
He nodded, looking somewhat contrite. "Of course. It shall be our little secret."
…
When she landed back in London, all she wanted was to feel the arms of her husband around her. She was filled with guilt at her indiscretion, but she couldn't bring herself to want to tell him.
It was a mistake, she told herself. A mistake that will never be repeated.
She paused in shock when she saw familiar messy hair and sparkling green eyes waiting for her.
Harry wrapped his arms around her, pressing his lips to her neck. "I missed you."
She'd been wrong about wanting a hug from her husband. It only made the guilt that much harder to swallow.
