Lovino and the creature walked up to the glass platform on the staircase, holding hands as they made the slow, painful walk. Lovino bit his lip, looking to the floor without a word. He was suddenly picked up and put on the platform by long, black arms. Lovino looked up to him, before sobbing and jumping to him, hugging the creature tightly. "Deemo...Deemo…! I don't want to go!" He cried. "I want to stay!"
The creature gave him a look of pity, shaking its head as it placed it back onto the platform, holding the boy's hand for only a moment before slowly pulling away and taking a step back. The being soon was holding his guitar, sitting next to the masked child. Lovino reached out to him, tears falling onto the glass. "No, please!" He begged.
The creature soon began playing, its fingertips delicately strumming the strings.
"L-LOVI!"
Lovino felt the platform shake and move upwards slowly. He felt heartache as he was torn apart from his close friend.
The truck...Blood...Blood everywhere…
The being's long, nimble fingers soon became those of a human's. The creature relished in its human form, smiling up to Lovino with tears sliding down his cheeks. The masked child removed his mask, showing a face identical to Lovino's.
Lovino's eyes widened in shock as he gripped the edge of the platform. Memories long forgotten began to form and took over the boy's train of thought.
Lovino, 22 years old, was being led off by his boyfriend to a cafe for another one of his surprise dates. He held his hand tight as they ran across the street, his boyfriend not having a care in the world; his world was making Lovino as happy as he could possibly be.
Lovino knew he shouldn't have screamed. If he hadn't screamed, maybe his boyfriend wouldn't have stopped in the middle of the road.
His boyfriend saw the big, red truck and rushed to protect Lovino, stepping in front of him and blocking him from the truck. Blood splattered across the street as Lovino was pushed into the concrete, his world fading to black as he lost consciousness.
"A-ANTONIO!" Lovino screamed, seeing his boyfriend being revived from his original form. Antonio grinned sadly, waving to him as he played. Lovino was rapidly changing from the small boy he was into his present self.
Lovino wanted to jump. He wanted to be with Antonio; he had to know he was ok.
The tower was crumbling to the ground, and soon there was nothing but white. Lovino was suddenly hit with the harsh reality.
This was all a dream.
…
Lovino woke up to the chatter of nurses around him. He saw the needle in his arm and yanked it out, sitting up. "A-Antonio! Where's Antonio?!" He asked quickly. The nurses looked over to him, mildly shocked, before giving him a pitiful look. The Italian noticed the look and felt sick, not wanting to know the answer. "W-What…?"
One of the nurses - A Belgian woman with chestnut colored hair with a red hairband - sat at the edge of Lovino's bed, looking to the floor. "M-Mr. Vargas, you might not know this...but Antonio died in the collision." Lovino went silent, before running to the window and opening the curtains, hoping to see Deemo's tower. However, all he saw was a bustling metropolis.
Romano fell to his knees, sobbing.
"Adiós, Mi querida Lovi."

Teensy little oneshot to keep everyone happy (or not) about the fact that I haven't uploaded a new chapter for W Academy's Club for the Socially Adept.
Deemo is an amazing game; I totally recommend it.
