The Fear: alien isolation

Amanda sprinted through the halls of Sevastopol. Samuels was dead and so was Taylor.

Just a few more feet she said as the next room approached. the vent nearby had a bloodied body next to it and a row of computers. Locked? no!, fuck! Amanda said as she reluctantly used the vent.

Waves of terror washed over her as she crawled through the vent, praying that the creature was not on the other side. after an hour of crying and sobbing in fear, she emerged from the hole.

*CRASH!* the creature smashed through the glass, skidden to a stop, looked around for Amanda, who was barely hidden by the Ice hocky table, and was about to leave. Amanda let out a sigh of relief, opened up her tracker.

*Beep* the creature stopped

*Beepbeep* the creature slowly turned to face her, it's jaws dripping saliva

Oh, Oh fuck! thought amanda as she fumbled desperately for her flamethrower.

The creature approached her, it's body giving off an aura of menace.

Please...please... begged amanda as she readied the flamethrower.

she pushed the trigger and...

one burst of ineffectual flame came out.

"FUCK!" she screamed. the creature raced towards her.

It grabbed her, but Amanda was having none of it, she jammed the flamethrower down it's gullet, so it choked, got the maintenance jack and began to pry it's jaws apart. the Creature screamed as acid blood came out of its jaws. taking the pipe bomb she had prepared earlier, Amanda jammed it down the creature's throat, and hid in the vent.

The explosion tore the door off its hinges and set bits of the creature's skin everywhere.

Verlaine radioed in:

"What the hell was that? did something just explode? we're right outside the spaceflight terminal, can you get here?" she asked. Amanda, still coughing from the smoke, said yes, and took the elevator down.

after activating the maintenance rig (the umbilical having been destroyed), she made her way to the airlock, donned an EVA suit, having murdered the one xeno in the vincinity, and stepped outside.

In the spaceflight terminal, the still living xeno opened its eyes
