POKEMON DOES NOT BELONG TO ME!

New Story, sorry for being so slow at doing anything. And I know this isn't much, but it's more of an introduction.

I should have another chapter up soon. I would have done more but it's currently 5:30 in the morning and I need sleep.

Laying across the extension of the mountain edge, staring up towards the calming moonlight as the sound of trickling water sounded from behind him, Absol sighed.

It was his nightly routine; to come up to this mountain spot he had claimed rightfully as his own. And he would think. Think about his past, think about his future, and think about the heartache he so longed to heal.

He layed his dark furred chin upon his milky colored arms, crossed infront of him. He looked down towards the forest, and then in the direction of his old cave home. The same home that he used to share with his beloved mate, Mightyena. His eyes closed slightly in sorrow as the memories came back to him for the hundredth time.

(Start of flashback)

Absol trotted quickly home after another unsuccessful hunting trip. It didn't bother him much, he was excited to see his mate. As his cave neared he broke into a sprint, his heart excellerating with excitement. He had been gone for 3 nights, and he had longed to come home since the moment his paws left the cave. He slowed to hear odd noises from inside the cave. The noises almost sound like they were out of pain. And it sounded like Mightyena. Absol's eyes widened and he darted inside, sliding to a stop as his heart sunk and his stomach tightened, both sorrow and rage building very quickly at the sight. "Mightyena..." Was the only thing that escaped his lips.

Mightyena was mounted by a Houndoom, mating. Before either could move, Absol simply murmured "How could you..." Before he turn and ran from the cave, his heart torn as tears build up behind the disaster pokemon's eyes. He continued running through the forest, always jumping out of the way of trees at the last second. He continued running until he found his pawpads pounding into dirt rather than grass as he quickly climbed the mountainscape. The same mountain he resides now.

(End of flashback)

Weeks later, and Absol's heart still aches. He still had feelings for his former mate, and he hates himself for it. But the image of her and that houndoom still haunts him, awake or asleep. Absol's ribbed poked through his skin lightly, his hunting trips mostly unsuccessful, but he was too hurt to even care as his stomach constantly growled hungrily at him. But he didn't even hear it, he was too lost in thaught. Absol rolled over so he was laying on his side as his eyes closed, eventually falling into a deep sleep. It didn't help his sorror, even in his sleep the night still haunted him in nightmares. He tossed and turned in his sleep the entire night.
