People always said I had grit, determination and that I never gave up. I always knew that was true. All the way until I met him and my certain death.

' Stop playing with your new abilities, Maurizio! You must take responsibility in your action. Do you think I wanted to have you that way? Sorry, that's not — '

' Forget it mum. I didn't want this to happen to me either, but I've gotten used to it so why can't you! '

Why me? It could have been anybody but no. My sister, my dad, my mum, my brother even my dog. Out of them all it had to be me. Avatar Wan created a new age, for him and many others, it was the dawn of reality. Korra, Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, Kuruk, Yangchen and hundreds more before them. But when Korra kept the Spirit Portals open, many more benders were discovered. Many more airbenders. I'm a water bender. No training, no mentor, no nothing. But my mums right. I need to take responsibility with my new bending abilities. I need training.

You've got to adapt to new life when you get crazy things like bending. Nothing this big has happened to me, ever. There are a couple of other benders in my school and even fewer in my grade. Year 9 has the most benders but no airbender has been classified just yet. It goes: Water: 7 people, Air: 0 people, Fire: 13 and Earth: 22. 42 benders out of the 150 in Year 9. I was lucky enough to be one of them, yay me! We had PE today and we were lucky enough to have a special guest teach our class today. Mako!

' I'm not as agile and flexible I used to be 57 years ago but — '

' So you don't switch between ladies anymore ', a class mate called out.

It was pretty funny and Mako even smirked a smile!

' Ok, then. You think you're the funny guy eh? Let's see how long you can go against an Old Team Avatar member? '.

' Lets Do This! ', Yuki exclaimed.

Yuki was my best friend and this was he's kinda business. I was betting 10 seconds. He got up and went towards the mat where Mako was waiting.

' I won't use my bending and you can use yours. '

' Non-bending against earth bending? Your going down Mako! '

' Just like my brother, Bolin, Earthbending and all. '

There was a 10 second countdown before the match started and I've got to say, Yuki is pretty damn good. He uses his Earth Bending like a master. Yuki raised two large chunks of rock in the air and sent them flying towards Mako. The rocks were slowly gathering speed as they sailed through the air. They were going pretty fast, at least 80 kph, and if Yuki kept this up I was seriously considering rooting for him against Mako. But then again there is Mako. They way he dodged those rocks was spectacular! He was shifting himself side to side like he was an airbender.

Unfortunately for Yuki, he was tiring and I guess Mako was just getting ready before beciase he looked like he could keep going for at least another half hour. Even still, my man was still going full force, as if he was never going to die. But his rocks were coming much slower than before and with a lot less force than before too. I would say I was worried but realily I was just getting impatient. I couldn't wait any longer to see Mako deal his final blow and DESTROY YUKI!

It wasn't long before I saw what I was waiting for, except it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. Actually, it was more Yuki giving up. He didn't get hit the entire match yet he was giving up. It was because he was physically and mentally dead. Mako was just taking out all of his energy.

" And the big man is down. But right now, he's not so big ", Mako remarked.

Everybody laughed but Yuki was blushing like he was made of red.

" Ok guys, lets go. All of you need training, and I'm sure you can all see why! "
