She was running. She didn't know for how long or how far she had run, but that she needed to keep running. 'Must stay ahead, must not fall back, must not stop'. All she knew was that she had to get somewhere safe otherwise... She dared not think about what could or would happen if she stopped running.

Suddenly, she was thrown sideways as someone tackled her then clamped a hand over her mouth. A voice hissed in her ear "shut up, don't say a word. You want this guy to find you? If not, stay quiet and stay still." The voice who spoke to her was female. But the language she spoke was not English. The woman spoke her native language of Hebrew, so she remained still and quiet.

After a period of time that seemed like eons, the woman finally removed her hand from over the girl's mouth and told her she was safe. The woman felt the girl completely relax and she relaxed too. The girl turned to the woman who saved her and gasped. "What happened to your face?" she said. The woman's face was littered with scratches, cuts, abrasions, the left side of her face was swollen as though her cheekbones were fractured and her bottom lip was split. She looked a mess but managed a smile, albeit painfully. The woman spoke. "Would you prefer to speak English or Hebrew?" The answer given was English. "In answer to your question, I was recently held hostage by the same man who you escaped from, but before that, he managed to beat me pretty severely." The woman said, looking up at the sky and trying not to show the girl that she was upset.

"Toda for saving me. He would surely have caught up to me and most likely killed me."

"What is your name?" the girl asked. "Kerry Vincent, what's yours?"

The reply she received made Kerry nearly faint.

"Zara Cote Maria Mellerton. Mossad."

Kerry's stomach decided at that point, it needed to empty itself and Zara just managed to get out of the way in time.

"Ew."
