(I Will Never Say) I'm Sorry
Sabrina Grimm didn't apologize. She knew this tendency, and it took a constant effort on her part. She restrained herself from murmuring the phrase over spilled milk, a broken toy, a trod-on foot, or any other slight misfortunes. Because she believed that, it made the words meaningless.
Take Daphne. For every grievance, miniscule or otherwise, she apologized. Therefore, you received the same words whether your food was burnt or leg was broken. Meaningless words spoken as conversation fade away. A chant uttered through habit, rather than actual feelings of regret.
Useless, and didn't help in the slightest. They hung in the air like so many crystalline threads, weaving together and waiting to shatter, pretty, but unhelpful.
Sabrina wouldn't speak her apologies frivolously, though. She knew that they were all too precious to waste.
Few ever heard them. They were rare, few and far between.
And so, when she spoke them-
"I'm sorry Puck…" She whispers down at the fairy's broken, wingless body. A small crystal tear drops unnoticed upon his shoulder. "I'm so sorry…"
She meant it.

So?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I couldn't decide what to call it. It was going to be '(I Will Never) Apologize' or (I Will Never Say My) Apologies', but although apology is a more sophisticated word, I thought this title sounded better.
As an after note, In the second to last sentence, Puck's not dead. It's supposed to be after the fight with the Jabberwocky.
….
This was so much better in my head.
