I sweat under my crew neck. This school must be 80 degrees. A freshman in front of me drops all his books. Some of the football players laugh. I push past him but my foot catches on his spilled books. I fall and my books spill too. I scatter to grab them. That's when the popular girls show up and pick up all my books. They pass them off and help me up. Two of them hold me and the other, the leader, pulls of my sleeves exposing my self harm scars. The kids are silent and then they laugh at me. My lips quivers and my eyes start to water. Then the star football player comes up and pulls his sleeves revealing scars just like mine. He quickly grabs my books and pulls me down he hallway away from those cruel kids. That's when I realized I was in love with Tobias Eaton.
