Beginning in The Hampton's
Rick and Kate, a weekend in the Hampton's and what happens next

It was summer time in the Hampton's. Temperature in the eighties. A soft warm breeze flowed down the sands. Beautiful people, I.e. woman, and girls trying to see how little they could cover their bodies. Also the boys doing their best to show their bodies for the women. For men the Speedo was the things. Walking down the beach was a middle-aged couple. He is six feet two, her is five feet ten they matched.
His navy blue boxer style bathing suit, matched her two piece blue and white suit. Her long deep brown hair was in one long brad down her back. Adding to her impression of having very long legs.`
He was the rich and famous Richard Castle, she the Tuff police detective Kathryn Beckett, NYPD. They were a couple, but no rings were yet involved.
When they reached the Castle home, a medium size white mansion.
They went inside to get ready for a night out. They shared a bedroom but dressed in separate rooms so each could keep up a surprise when meeting to go out She wore a sparkling blue one sleeve dress with rhinestone running down the inside edge of the one shoulder strap, The dress became fuller after her hips and stopped about six inches from the ground. Just high enough for the five-inch sparkling blue heels. Rich wore a brand new Italian suit in a dark blue hue.
They rode in a new limo to the most superb restaurant in the Hampton's.
After a wonderful dinner Castle spoke to the waiter about a special dessert. When it arrived Rick dropped his napkin on the floor.
He knelt to pick it up. He was right in front of Kate. She was watching the waiter place the Cream Brulé.
"Kathryn Beckett would you please agree to make me the happiest man on this planet and become my wife?"
Kate's face got bright red and a look of pure enjoyment spread across it.
"Rick you are a kid on a sugar high and I will accept the proposal to be your wife for life. Rick I so do love you."
The other people in the restaurant stood up and clapped. Then Rick put the ring on Kate's finger and they scooted out to the limo for home.
On Monday morning Kate walked into the 12th and rode the elevator to the third floor. The door open and Captain Gates was just going into her office. She turned and with a stern voice said.
Detective Beckett get that smile off your face and that damn big ring off your hand and give me a look. Congratulations Kate."
Thank you Captain. I was just going to tell you about it. How din you know?'
My brother-in-law was you waiter at the restaurant and he could not waiter to tell me. So lets see it. Oh boy that is beautiful and soooooo big."
She hugged Kate for the first time.
Esposito , then Ryan walked in to the office in time to see the two hugging.
"Who died?"
"Ryan that was very crude, so what going on?"
"I'm engaged to get married."
"Anyone we know Beckett?"
You two are Bad, Bad, Bad, you know about Rick and I, you two."
"So he took the big step?"
"Yes I did We were thinking about Saturday June 29 2013, at the house in the Hampton's."
They talked and laugh till the phone rang and they had a case to go on. Things were back to normal for now.
