Refuge
Ba-dump; my heart thumped as she placed her hands on mine. "I want to be your 'Refuge'" I want to tell her everything, I want to whip that look of worry off her face, I want to let myself be happy just so she would be happy; but that meant shattering her picture of corn, it meant her running away leaving me behind and I didn't want that.
I know she hates it when I leave her in the dark about things, it hurts her and I hate hurting. Dark Moon was proof of that. She doesn't realize just how much she supports me, how much she means to me, then it dawned on me and I could help but smile at her.
"You already are Kyoko. You help me through so many things, and I know you aren't aware of that but you are my refuge, my support."
She was surprised at first but then her expression turned into a happy peaceful one.
"From now on I will let myself be happy; for you Kyoko."
