A/N: This idea popped into my head this sunny April morning and made me laugh, and I just had to write it down. Hope you enjoy it. Please review! Jelly babies will be given to nice reviewers.
The tall, thin man quirked his head, frowned a little, and stroked his neatly-trimmed moustache thoughtfully. His tie today was patterned with monochrome wavy lines, completing his usual attire of a plain black suit and stiff-collared off-white shirt. He was sure he'd seen this particular piece before. There had been many portraits and sculptures he'd come across more than once, but this one was perhaps the most interesting of them. It had sublime colours, but was completely afunctional. It wasn't art, but it wasn't supposed to be here, therefore it was art, divorced from its function. He had definitely commented on this piece before.
As he stood and studied it, a sure hand clapped him on the shoulder and rested there, a confident display of familiarity. "Wonderful, isn't she?"
Before he could respond, the man flashed him a toothy grin and started forwards, pulling a smiling blonde girl by the hand. They vanished inside the structure before his moustache could so much as quirk in reply. It was wonderful, really. Absolutely exquisite.
As the light on the top flashed brightly, the structure began to dissolve from his vision, accompanied by a strange, repetitive grating sound which faded into a high-pitched echo before vanishing completely.
"Been done," he announced to no-one in particular, and moved on.
