Rogue Trainer
Prologue
"Seth Forest, I hereby strip you of all your Pokemon related possessions and your Pokemon and forbid you to ever catch another Pokemon again indefinitely, by order of the Pokemon League."
Slam! Seth jumped at the sound of the wooden mallet hitting the desk then lowered his head again, staring at his black pants. He looked up and saw the guard pick up his pokeballs, pokedex and trainer card, put them in clear zip-lock bags and walk out of the courtroom.
"Come on Seth," Liz put her hand on his, "There's nothing you can do, a couple of years good behaviour and you'll be able to start again!" She said reassuringly.
"They've taken my best friends, Liz! I don't want to start again! I want my pokemon back!" He said to, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Shh! Seth! You're making a scene!" Seth remembered where he was, everyone was staring at him. His face went bright red and he walked swiftly out of the courtroom and slammed the door behind him.
He broke into a run down the hallway and into the toilets. He sat in one of the cubicles and locked the door. Then he cried. Cried for the first time in years. His pokemon were his prize possessions and now they were gone. Because of one stupid mistake his best friends were gone and probably never coming back.
Where would they go? Probably to work for the police.
Seth punched the wall. He breathed in and left the toilets. Liz was waiting outside.
"You alright?"
"What do you think? Let's go, I don't ever want to see this place again."
Chapter 1
Seth remembered the court case like it was yesterday. A whole year had past, Seth trying to find out were his friends had been taken and what they were being used for.
He had finally found them. Just like he had predicted they were in a police training camp where pokemon where trained to become crime fighting machines, zombies that did everything the government told them to. That way they didn't have to send humans out on the field and hand out thousands to their families when they were killed.
Luckily Seth's pokemon hadn't started their training yet. He watched them through the glass. The rest of his grade 11 class watched as well. All the different types of confiscated pokemon sitting in small confined cages made of an advanced type of steel (So the Arons couldn't eat through). None of them new that Seths' three best friends were in the cages aswell.
Thank god for school field trips! He thought. If I hadn't come then there'd be no other way to get into this place, it's now or never.
The teacher moved the class away, some of the girls saying how cruel it was to keep pokemon confined in such a way. An officer slid a security card through a slot on the door and walked in. As the door was about to swing shut Seth slid his foot in the gap while no one was looking and entered the pokemon training area.
