A/N: So I've been writing in my notebook lately, since my laptop is too clunky to bring to school and that's where I get most of my writing done, and I don't have as much time to type it up as I had hoped. So I know this is late, considering 5x02 has already been aired, but this is based on the promo.

Rookies
"Hey" She smiled walking into the private hospital room. Sam looked up from the book he was reading.
"Guess what?" She asked, shimming out of the oversized jacket of his that she was wearing; he raised his eyebrows, indicating for her to continue.
"What?"
"We got a new rookie!" She exclaimed, "Yeah, he looks like Eminem and Frank has assigned me to be his TO." Sam barked out a laugh at her unenthusiastic tone.
"He can't be that bad McNally, atleast he didn't knock you to the ground and tried to kiss you" She gave him a look.
"His first day on the job, we get a murder, before he even gave a death notification, he said to the guys' mother, 'sorry this is my first death notification', and this is from him tackling me to the ground." She pulled up her shirt, showing him the large bruise forming on her ribcage and Sam's eyes narrowed.
"What?" He grinded out.
"In his defense he thought he was saving me" Sam cocked his head.
"Thought?"
"It was a dog, that ended up licking me to death, Sam it was so cute." Sam laughed, before motioning for her to continue, having a feeling that she wasn't done yet.
"Then after work, few minutes before I left to come here, while I was obviously wearing your jacket, he tried to kiss me in the locker room.
"What?" Sam asked again, and Andy couldn't help but smile at the jealousy that laced his voice. "Did you tell him you're mine?"
"I told him I was taken, don't worry Sam" She told him taking a step towards his bed. Sam crossed his arms and smirked.
"Good" He said, as he pulled her towards the bed, and nudged her nose with his before capturing her lips with his own.
