Cory looks around their new apartment. "Well, we're home," he said, trying to lighten the mood. Outside the window there was a traffic jam. They heard people beeping their horns, and someone screamed, "HEY, IF YOU CAN'T DRIVE, GET OFF THE FUCKEN ROAD!" and then someone else screamed, "WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR LICENCE, OUT OF A GRAB BAG!"

At that, Topenga shut the window, and looked around. It definitely looked better than their old place when they had first moved in. They had moved from Philadelphia to New York City. Topenga had gotten an internship here, and her husband, Cory, along with his brother, Eric, and best friend, Shawn, and gone with her. They were now in a Dorm for a married couple at NYC, because Cory and Shawn, along with herself, had transferred from Pembroke to NYC.

Topenga looked around the living room. They had taken their couch that they had bought for their previous place in Philadelphia. It looked totally out of place. The paint was peeling, the carpet needed a desperate wash, and the rest of the furniture looked like it would fall apart if she sat on it. "Well, let's see the rest of it, there should be a bedroom back here, somewhere." She led him to the bedroom, kissing him all the while. When they opened the door, a scrawny cat zipped out of the room. "Oh, somebody left that cat locked in here, how awful." The cat was gone, out the door that they had left open, but she had left behind three kittens who were a couple weeks old.

"Can we keep them?" Cory asked, in his innocent child-like way. He always had a way with animals, his parents just wouldn't ever let him have a pet.

"I don't think that the building allows animals and besides, AHHH- CHOOO, I'm allergic to cats, AHHH-CHOOO, I'm going out if you don't mind, AHHH-CHOOO!" She got out of that room fast, her eyes were puffing up, and she was sneezing like hell!
