Unspoken Legacy: Chapter 1

Cool wind wrapped itself around the apartments balcony, stirring the hem of Revens robes as she gazed out across the city of Coursant. Carth had to come here for a meeting with Admiral Dodonna, and the council had seen fit to send Reven and Bastila with him to check on the building of the Jedi academy. "Why can't I remember?" She thought, racking her brain in attempt to recall a memory–A true memory . . . Bits and pieces were returning, but they were only that; Pieces. Pieces of her life that seemed like a staticy holocron.

Sensing Carth behind her, she smiled slightly as she felt his arms go around her waist. "It's way too late to be thinking beautiful." Carth whispered softly into her ear, his beard tickling her face.

"I know, but I can't sleep, and I'm not sure how many more flashbacks I can handle." She replied, pulling away from him slightly. Carth turned her around to face him, worry and concern etched across his brow and in his eyes.

"Should I go get Bastila? She could–"

Reven laid a finger across his lips, silencing him. "No-- Although I would love to see the scandalized expression on her face to see you in nothing but boxers-" Revens eyes danced with mirth. "Scratch that- I want to be the only one to see you in boxers . . . "

Carth gathered her up in his arms, pulling her close. "Your wish is my command, Beautiful." He answered, carrying her inside.

Hours later in another part of the apartment, Bastila lay tossing and turning, visions filling her mind as she attempted to stop them . . .

A young woman clad in padawan robes approached her, seeming slightly in awe."Master Shan? I was told by Master Zhar that you could help me . . . " The young womans hood fell back, revealing reddish blond hair pulled back into a braid, and bright crystal green eyes. "I'm having these visions, during battle practice . . . "

Bastila sat up in bed, drenched in sweat; It was the fourth dream-vision she had received this week; all involving this girl–each one of her at a different age. "I am losing my mind; yet, that face- those eyes . . . I somehow know her . . . " Bastila muttered softly to herself, laying back down.

Reven glanced around the room once more, filing every image deep into her memory, than closed the door behind her softly. "I'm so sorry Carth, but I have to do this alone; Goodbye my love." She muttered softly, pulling her hood into place, then disappearing into the shadows.

Ok, I know this chapter was short, but I felt it needed to end here. Also, this story will sort of bend the KOTOR I and KOTOR II game story line a little; I felt like the masters didn't need to die in KOTOR II, So Zhar is still alive and kicking. That said, I also don't own any of the characters, Lucas Arts does.

This is my first fanfic, so please R&R!
