Sitting in the car waiting for light to hurry up and come out if the huge building he was in, Misa watched the different people going by. It was not a unusual habit for her-maybe a bad one, but it was still

entertaining...well for awhile anyway.

A woman with a kid, two or three years old, walked by talking on her cell phone trying to get the kid a babysitter. She used to baby-sit. When she was younger, like at 14.

A man in s a thick, black suit also went by. He was carrying a briefcase and was trying to look over some papers while walking. Misa smiled when he stumbled and dropped his bag.

That's what he gets for being so dumb. People work to hard for their own good sometimes...just like Light-kun...

Ignoring the rest of the passerbyers, she looked toward the entrance to see if Light was coming out yet. To her luck, he was coming out

But when he turned, she realized it was not Light. It was a Mail Jeevas. Sighing she returned to staring at the peoples. She was slightly shamed for mistaking some stranger for Light-kun

She was startled when someone knocked on the car window. A dozen scenarios flashed through her mind- she was in a fairly large city.

But when she saw that it was just the guy she had mistaken for Light, she smiled and rolled down the window.

"Yes?" she asked in a friendly voice.

"Your car's making some odd noises. I could check it really quickly-if you want." He offered .

Misa paused for a moment wondering if Light would mind before nodding.

Mail went around and opened the hood of the car. To Misa it seemed like he simply pocked something, but when he reappeared, there was grease smeared over part of his face.

Blushing, she thought, he's sorta cute, even if he is not Light-kun.

Automatically shunning the thought, she smiled at him and said thank you.

"Your welcome." He replied.

Turning away from her he started walking down the street. Misa hesitated before asking, "Hey, what's your name?"

Turning around he flashed a smile and cheerfully said, "Matt."

He then continued walking down the street. Misa couldn't help but think,

Yay for super short crack pairings! I actually really love this pairing, but LOVE melloxmisa. That is definitely one of my favorite pairing, and there is not enough fandom for either one which makes me sad. About the car thing, Matto is not snooping, it is supposed to be a obvious problem.
