We were all there at the end. All those you were able to save.
Rose is married now, her husband waits outside and her two boys are in school. She only lets you call her Rosie; everyone else has to call her Rose. Sue had to go and get some air; even now she gets emotional when she thinks about Rapture… she won't be away too long though, she never is. Poppy is reading and re-reading your charts as if she can find a cure for old age; we all believe she inherited your stubbornness. Erin still dreams of the day you rescued us, she can remember more clearly than any one else - that's probably why she was able to write such in-depth stories. We're all expecting her to get them published soon. I'm here… I've always been, watching over you when you became a grandfather, my way of saying thank you for what you did.
When Sue returns we all gather around your bed, almost as though we're too far away. When you reach out with a shaking hand we hold you steady, like you did so often for us.
We don't know what drove you to free us, but even now as you fade from our lives, we'll never forget what you did.
We love you father…
