I'll wait for you
19-year-old Gabriella Montez is sitting at the park waiting for her boyfriend to come. They'll be going different ways in life now. She knew that they needed to be away from each other but she just can't do it. He is her life.
Looking at the right side of the park, she saw the person she's been waiting for nearly 10 minutes. His short brown hair moving in the air. His smile getting wider as he walks closely to her. Arriving near her, Gabriella stood up and hugged his boyfriend and gave him a kiss before sitting down.
They sat quietly as they stared at the children's playing in the playground of the park. Looking at the person beside her occasionally, Gabriella can't tell what's on his mind right now. She breathes deeply before breaking the silence.
"Troy, can I ask you something?" she started making Troy look at her.
"Sure. What is it?" he replied with a little worry on his face.
"Do you love me? She asked looking at his eyes straight.
Troy answered, "Yes, I'll love you forever and I promise that I'll wait for you at the altar."
She said, "But why do you need to go far from here and study abroad?"
Troy stood up and walks away while crying, leaving Gabriella behind confused and hurt.
After 12 years, Gabriella got married with another guy. While entering the church, she is crying. Her mother asked why and she replied:
"Because, there's a guy that promised that will wait for me in front of the altar."
In front of the altar, she saw her ex-boyfriend standing wearing a priest clothes smiling at her. Her eyes started to flood with tears as she gets closer to the altar.
Troy looks at her and said, "I told you I'll wait for you."
