Logan warily made his way down the stairs, his head still spinning as he tried to piece everything together. The deafening sound of the school bell and his heavy head was making it difficult to think straight. He saw all the familiar faces; Rogue, Bobby, Hank…

Did it worked?

He saw Storm chatting up with some of the students he had never seen before. He tried calling out all he could managed was a hoarse whisper drowned by students laughing and chatting as they made way for classes.

Logan was about to head down the hallway when he caught a familiar scent. He knew that scent.

'No…It can't be…' Was he hallucinating again? He kept his gaze on the slim figure leaning against the door frame. Her face hidden by her beautiful red hair.

He slowly made his way towards her, taking his time. Taking in the sight, etching the moment in his mind as if it was going to dissolve any second. He called out to her.

"Hey Logan" she said quietly, her smile reached her emerald eyes.

"You're here…" he whispered as he slowly reached out to touch her. 'Please, let her be real..'.

Jean turned to him, tilted her head to the side and grinned "Where else would I be?". She paused when she saw the pained look in his eyes. She seized his hand and planted a soft kiss on his knuckles. "Logan..Are you okay?"

Logan looked at her, confused. But a good kind of confused. His skin tingled when her warm lips touched his hand. His gaze fell upon the diamond ring on her finger. He brushed his finger lightly on her ring.

Jean used her free hand to caress his cheek. Bringing his attention to her before she gently kissed his lips. Her actions caught him off guard at first but heck. He would never pass up this opportunity. If he were dead, he must be in heaven. If it was a dream, he didn't want to wake up. If this was limbo and he was stuck here for eternity, he never want to get out.

He grabbed her waist and brought her closer to him. Her body felt warm against his. He returned her kiss with such passion it left her breathless. "Logan! Not when half the school is running around for classes" she broke away, putting both her hands on his hard chest. "I have to go. Class starts in 10 minutes. I don't want to keep the students waiting. I'll see you later?" she gave him a peck on his cheek and walked away before Logan grabbed her hand.

"Are we married?"

"I'll let you figure it out yourself" Jean laughed, amused at Logan's behaviour. "Later, Logan" she winked, before leaving her very confused husband, to attend to her class.
