'Teacher I'm sorry that I was late but it's not my fault because I had woke up on time today and was ready too. I had eaten my whole breakfast before going out the door, and I hadn't forgotten anything at home. I wouldn't have been late if I hadn't seen the grip tape on sale at this shop that I hadn't been able to get because this guy from Seigaku bought it before I could and it had been out of stock and I needed some grip tape for my racquet which I need for the upcoming tournament which is important to me and my club, and if I knew that without that tape I wouldn't be able to do well during the tournament and I didn't want to disappoint my team mates so I went to the shop without even glancing over the other wares even though there was this TOALSON racquet that I saw there and really wanted to buy because I love TOALSON racquets and these Nike shoes. I went straight out of that shop with the grip tape and headed for the school, but then I realized I had left my bag in the shop so I ran back to find my bag, and I got it. After leaving for the school again I realized that I had left my grip tape at the shop so I had to run back again and by the time I got to the school after that I was late and I had to run to the classroom but I couldn't go in yet because you were talking and I didn't want to knock because that would be rude because if I knocked I would be interrupting you so then I waited until you finished talking. But you were lecturing the class about something and I didn't think you would lecture the class for so long or I would have knocked when you were at the beginning of the lecture and after I knocked, I still had to stand outside the door for a bit before you opened the door because you didn't hear me when I knocked the first time and nobody noticed me until I hit the door hard with my fist and made a really loud knock and after that you came over and then opened the door and then I was here. But it's not my fault that I'm late, teacher! I couldn't have avoided being late, as it was inevitable because even though I had woke up on-'

'Okay teacher, and thank you for-'
'And be quiet.'

Shinji's teacher thinks it's all just an act to make sure that Shinji is never marked late for class. How naïve! xD
