Chris and Martin stood right over their best lemur friend's grave. A few years had passed, but still seemed like only yesterday. Life could be a difficult thing to everybody. It just happened to be difficult to certain people.

Zoboomafoo 1 was very young when he contracted a sudden illness. Still, he did his best to live a normal life just as he battled the infection. Then he just fell asleep 1 night and never woke up. Zoboomafoo 1 was deceased at 20 years old.

The obvious question was why it was, but it was 1 nobody would get an answer to in this entire life. All anybody knew was his entire life had been cut way too short.

Chris and Martin only felt they could go to the funeral ceremony with Katrina, so they needed 1 another, having lost the good lemur friend they really loved more than anything.

"We heard you were coming along today, Katrina," Chris said to her. "We just wanted to get here 1st so you wouldn't get lost in this place."

"I appreciate that, you guys," Katrina said to them. "I'm never good at making my way around cemeteries by the way, so thanks for being so considerate."

The 3 of them then looked right back down at the spot where Zoboomafoo 1 lied beneath.

"He had his entire life ahead of him," Katrina said to them. "He was gonna be the new king of lemurs when his father retired, he really loved it here in Animal Junction, and wouldn't have traded that place for anything."

"We know," Martin said to her. "But at least Zoboomafoo 2 said he'd become the new king of lemurs."

"Still," Katrina said to them. "It won't be the same without Zoboo leaping here and there."

"We get what you mean," Chris said to her. "It just doesn't feel right knowing he's gone for good, but we still got to know him as the smart, hilarious and intelligent lemur he was, we had a true good friend in him as well and that's a debt we can never repay."

"That's true," Katrina said to them. "The 4 of us did lots of things together as always, and without him, I don't think we'll be able to hear his Zoboo-Land fantasy stories any longer, I just wish he didn't need to leave us already."

"Life is what it is," Chris said to her. "Creatures come and go. But they'll always be with all of us no matter where we go, even if in heavenly spirit only."

The 3 good friends put down the sunflowers they had brought and said a silent praise and made peacefulness with their emotions for the brief time.

"Let's go outside and dedicate this in memoriam to our best friend for life." Martin said to them.

"Alright," Martin said to her right before turning to Zoboomafoo 1's grave 1 more time. "Goodbye, Zoboo, we'll never forget about you."

And with that, the 3 good friends, departed from the deceased lemur's gravesite.
